Prof. Dr. Ebru Voyvoda (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi)

Prof. Dr. Ebru Voyvoda, Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora derecelerini 1998 ve 2003 yıllarında Bilkent Üniversitesi’nden aldı. 2003-4 döneminde ABD’de University of Utah’da misafir araştırmacı olarak çalıştı. Eylül 2004’den bu yana Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi İktisat Bölümü’nde öğretim üyesidir. Dr. Voyvoda 2011-2 akademik döneminde iklim değişikliğinin ekonomik etkileri konusunda çalışmalar yapmak üzere Almanya’da Center for European Economic Research (ZEW)’de ve 2015-6 akademik döneminde sanayileşme, yapısal dönüşüm ve büyüme konularında çalışmalar yapmak üzere İsviçre’de United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)’da bulunmuştur. Ebru Voyvoda, büyüme, uygulamalı genel denge, enerji-çevre-ekonomi modellemeleri ve iktisat politikası alanlarında çalışmaktadır.

Prof. Ebru VOYVODA received her MS and PhD degrees in Economics at Bilkent University in 1998 and 2003. She was a post-doc researcher at the University of Utah, Dept. of Economics in 2003-4. She has been a faculty member in the Department of Economics in Middle East Technical University since September 2004. She visited Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management Dept. at the Center for European Economic Research (ZEW), Mannheim, Germany in 2011-12 to conduct research on intergenerational impacts of environmental policies. In 2015- 16 she was affiliated with UNCTAD, Division of Globalization and Development Strategies where she worked on industrialization and structural transformation in developing economies. Ebru Voyvoda’s research focuses on applied modeling for policy analysis, energy-environment-economicsmodeling and contemporary issues in economic policy.
